The magic is gone

ReneeDragonfly The Rave, Milwaukee

Saw him at the Rave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He had red and green lights on his face the whole time so you could not see the details of his face. I don't think time has been good to him. The venue was bad and so was he. I saw him in his hey day and he was awesome. I am still a big fan but with time and age he seems to have gone down hill.

He's not into it anymore.

My first and probably last live show of Manson. He literally left the stage in the middle of songs while the rest of the band played their instruments. He kept saying "whatever whatever" when he was singing, like he forgot the lyrics. Was not a fan of it.

What happened???

saw him before at the Ace Theatre in Los Angeles. He was so much better then. This time, I expected him to come out "unleashed" and let loose. I was sadly disappointed. Seems he was just going through the motions and not really into it. Talked to some die hard fans later who were also terribly let down. Not sure what the issue was last night. His voice was not up to par.

I've seen Marilyn Manson 3 times over the course of the past 4 years or so and every time has been phenomenal. He puts on one hell of a show and his set lists are always a good mix of his old hits along with some of his best new material. I'd love to meet him one day and shake his hand.
